the Crusades Research Project

March 3, 2010

i didn’t like the wiki project. i was one of the unfortunate people to lose some of my work (thankfully mr T was able to get it back) and i think that we should have probably done it on paper. i think i was ok on detail but my design work on my piece was very incomplete and i shouhljd havew finished that. otherwise i was pleased with how my paper turned out. i also think it was a good idea to have us get feedback from people in the class, it gave  us a peer’s view on thhe assignment which was very helpful

Muhammad book.

January 19, 2010

i think the muhammad book was a great idea, i like projects way better than tests. i think that we were able to get a lot done in class wich was helpful, but also it was good inn that you had to work on it at home too, which made me study. i think i did a good job on my title page and my inside cover. i could have put a little more on some of my summarys. otherwise i feel like it was a successful project. i learned about the arabian penninsula and how the muslim religion spread.

Letter to parents 1st trimester

November 20, 2009

HI MOM HI DAD! ;) this is a lot like the letter i wrote in mrs petersons class, and for the same reasons as before. this trimester in math we learned about all sorts of variable terms and we had math vocab tests which was really new! in science we learned about the grand canyon and different rocks. and in social studies we learned about medieval europe and daily life.i thinks my study habbits’s needs improvements and thats i needs to turn in my homeworks. and a lot of my assignments are turned in with out a name on them so that also hurt my grade. otherwise i think i did a relativly good job this year

one rule that i think is unfair

October 22, 2009

the one that i think is unfair isn’t really a rule but something that happened recently. i don’t think it was fair during the bomb threat yestarday that the information given to teachers and students was limited. we had the right to know why we were outside of class and out in the rain for an hour and then proceeded to walk to the highschool. we weren’t aware that there was a bomb threat untill we got to the highschool. untill then all we knew was that whatever it was it wasn’t a drill. and the fact the teachers knew as much as us was even more upsetting. i understood that the principal was under a lot of stress and trying to figure out what was going on but we shouldn’t have been left in the dark

church poem Question response

October 14, 2009

this church poem reminds me of a research paper we did in 6th grade about rome. it reminds me of this because of the fact it was semi artistic which gave a certain freedom that not a lot of projects i’ve had before had. this is similar to my rome project because of the drawing involved. i wonder if i had spent more energy on it if i would have been happier with it.i realized that i don’t really like poetry though, but also how creative my classmates are. i noticed that in a cpntrolled environment a lot of people have creative ways to express things.
